A small painting I completed in my studio with reference photo. I grew up outside of the New Forest in England and still the countryside here stirs certain good feelings within me. My mother still lives here while I now live in the US and so she goes out walking and photographing the forest and it's inhabitants and sends me the photographs to view and to paint from if I wish!
